+	== Background and Identification ==

+	With the Nokia 1600, what you see is what you get. There are no sliders or flip-open components with this device. The removable back cover reveals the battery when it is popped off.

+	The battery is lithium ion and is replaceable. Underneath the battery will show you your device’s specific information for the model and serial number. After this step, it is possible to completely separate each of the plastic components being held together with small screws.

+	Fun fact: the Nokia 1600 was the first cell phone Nokia offered with a color display. These were offered in three different colors: Silver, White, and Black.

+	There are some reported known issues with the phone. One was a user who reported that their ringer function was not working properly with the speaker. Luckily, some users with these issues have had successful repairs! Another user reported that their device was not charging properly.

+	This model has been discontinued by the manufacturer.
