Background
The Kobo Sage is a large, 8-inch eReader that was released alongside the Kobo Libra 2 on October 2021. While being a large eReader compared to similar products, it's the second largest eReader Kobo offers—the biggest being the Kobo Elipsa.
It features 32 GB of internal storage and an 8-inch HD flush E Ink Carta 1200 touchscreen. It also supports Bluetooth wireless connectivity to listen to Kobo Audiobooks along with the Kobo Stylus to directly markup text.
The Kobo Sage eReader starts at $269 USD.
Identification
The Kobo Sage can be identified primarily by its model number: N777 or N778K. You can find the model number either on the edge of the plastic case or through the device’s settings: More → Settings → About Libra Sage. For more information about model numbers, click here for instructions on Kobo's website.
Visually, the Kobo Sage looks very similar to the Kobo Libra 2 with a similar size and page turn buttons, and a power button on the back of the cover. The Sage is larger 8" screen. For more information about identifying your device, click here for instructions on Kobo's website.
