Background
The LG VX5500 is a compact flip phone sold through Verizon Wireless. It differs only cosmetically from its predecessor the VX5400.
The phone is constructed of dark grey plastic, with a black panel on the outside of the front shell. It is equipped with a VGA camera located on the top middle of the device, when it is folded. The VX5500 also features two color screens.
The device was released October 31st, 2008.
