The Valve Index is Valve’s first solo entrance into the VR space, having teamed up with HTC previously to bring the Vive headset to market. The Index set is designed to be cross-compatible with the HTC Vive and HTC Vive Pro sets, with users being able to swap out the controllers or the headset and keep the rest of their existing kit.
