The ZTE ZMax Z970 is 162.6 x 83.8 x 8.9 mm (6.40 x 3.30 x 0.35 in). The appearance is black and square corners. The sides of the phone have a volume and power button.
ZTE ZMax Z970 has 5.7-inch display paired with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, an Adreno 305 GPU, and a sizable 3,400 mAh battery first release September 24, 2014. The camera is 8-megapixel rear-facing which is capable of recording 1080p video, and a 1-megapixel front-facing camera. Storage wise comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, but users have the option to add up to 32 GB of external storage via a micro SD card.
The phone was being sold at T-Mobile stores for 7 months until sales were halted. People were having trouble with their ZMAX after trying to remove the battery to perform various repairs. ZTE decided to make removing the battery less appealing in order to prevent any more issues arising.
