Introduction
This guide will help you to replace a bad tensioner pulley in your 2005 Mustang GT. This may also apply to other years as well. If the tensioner is broken or just very noisy, this guide will help you correct the issue by replacing the part. Please use caution when working on any vehicle as serious injury can occur if you do not take proper precautions.
Be sure the car is off and the parking brake is engaged.
