Introduction

If the headlight has burnt out or broken on your 2014 Nissan Murano, use this guide to replace it. All that is required is to pop the hood, locate the headlight compartment, and replace an old headlight bulb with a brand-new one.

Before beginning, turn off the car, place it in park, and engage the parking brake.

Open the hood using the lever under the steering wheel on the driver's side.

Open the hood.

Determine which headlight is burnt out, then locate that headlight well.

Remove the screws from the headlight cover with a small Phillips screwdriver.

Turn the bulb ¼ counterclockwise.

Pull out the burnt out bulb.

Insert the new bulb.

Turn it ¼ clockwise to lock it into place.

Put the cover back into place using the Phillips screwdriver.

Check to make sure the new headlight is working by starting your car and turning on your lights.
Consult with your local recycling center on how to dispose of the bulb properly.
