Introduction
Before using this guide, please refer to the troubleshooting page as some issues can be resolved without having to replace the back panel.
Make sure the device is powered off and unplugged from its power adapter before starting to prevent damage to the device as well as to prevent the risk of electric shock.
What you need

Flip the laptop over so the back panel is facing upwards.

Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove seventeen 2.5mm screws.

Remove the back panel from the laptop using an iFixit opening tool.
