What you need

  1. Blackberry KeyONE Speaker Replacement, Remove top cover: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Carefully remove the top plastic cover. It is hold in place by adhesive.

    • Remove the two Philipps #0 screws that hold in place the top of the phone frame and slide it off.

    • Now the speaker just slides out.

Trickiest part was removing the top piece. I used a razor blade to lift the edge, then a guitar pick to finish pulling it up. Thanks for the instructions.

Be careful with the razor blade or it will slice the top of the flex which you can see folded over the top of the frame. This is not what you will really want to do as you will now be replacing the flex too.

thanks for the guide! was unsure how the phone came apart besides the back cover. took a few tries to get a hang of luckily i had started on the ones with totalled enclosures.
