Introduction

In order to replace the camera you'll have to first remove the back cover. The camera is one of the easiest components to replace once the cover is removed.

    • Power off the device

    • Remove any cables that might be connected to your device

    • Make sure the device is placed on a flat surface with the display screen facing up

    • Wedge the plastic opening tool in between the display screen and back panel

    • Do not apply too much pressure in order to avoid cracking the screen

    • Carefully separate the display from the back panel

    • Use the spudger to lift the the black flap.

    • Use the ESD safe precision tweezers to pull the connector out and carefully remove the camera.
