Go to step 1The battery will need to be recharged or replaced after it runs out of power. The memory card should be replaced, too, once its storage is full.

Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the camera.

Slide the cover in the direction away from the lens.

The cover should pop up, revealing the slot where the batteries and the memory card are inserted.
