DeWALT Hammer Drill DW511 Back Cover Replacement

Introduction

Removing the back cover of the DeWALT DW511 Hammer Drill allows for access to the internals of the device. This requires removing three screws and using an opening tool to pop off the back cover. Before beginning, make sure the drill is unplugged to avoid damaging components.

What you need

    • Remove three 19 mm T20 Torx screws from the back of the drill.

    • Place an opening tool in the groove line of the handle and pop the back loose.

    • Grab the drill with two hands and pull the cover off.
