Replacing the battery of a Dell XPS M170 MXG051 is easy, as it requires nothing to be unscrewed or disassembled.

Step 1 Dell XPS M170 MXG051 Battery Removal

• Turn off your computer. Then, disconnect your computer and all attached devices from their electrical outlets.
• Close the display and turn the computer upside down on a flat work surface.
• Slide the battery-bay latch release on the bottom of the computer and remove the battery from the bay.
