Introduction

Go to step 1

This guide will teach you how to get at the internal components of this device by safely removing the two plastic covers on the back.

The covers are attached with a few screws each and snap-on tabs within the device itself. The internal tabs will give you the most trouble so keep the plastic opening tool nearby at all times. When using the plastic opening tool make sure you have a firm grip on the device or another set of hands to help keep it steady. Of course use your best judgement when it comes to prying at the covers, they are quite durable but will certainly snap if put under too much pressure.

Please note that all the screws for the back cover are the same size and length so while you should try to keep track of your screws, don't fret if some of them get mixed up in the process.

Good luck!
