2022 Chevrolet Silverado Windshield Wipers Replacement

Access the windshield wiper by lifting it away from the windshield.
Use a prying tool to lift the flat opening on the windshield wiper.
Caution: Be careful. Since you are working around glass and heavy tools, make sure there is enough clearance to avoid dropping tools onto windshield causing it to crack or scratching the vehicle.

Use a pair of pliers if you are unable to lift up the flat opening with a prying tool.
Guide the broken windshield wiper downward to remove safely.
Caution: Be careful. Since you are working around glass and heavy tools, make sure there is enough clearance to avoid dropping tools onto windshield causing it to crack or scratching the vehicle.

Once the windshield wiper is removed from the base, you are ready to insert the new windshield wiper.
The base should be cleared from any pieces of broken windshield wiper.

Begin reassembling the new windshield wipers onto the base carefully.
Place the windshield wiper onto the base where the upright opening is, and assure it is secured to the base, as if you are hooking the item on.
Close the latch shut, pressing it down to secure placement.

Once the windshield wipers are secured back on, carefully set them back onto the windshield.
The installation of your new windshield wipers is complete.
