Introduction
This will guide you how to open the back and front casing. You will be able to access most of the electronics, the flash, viewfinder and the conveyor mechanism. You will need a Philips screwdriver size 0 or 00 and flat head srewdriver.

Open the battery compartment, remove the batteries and remove the two Philips screws

Remove the film casette from the film compartment.

Congratulations. You did it. Safety Note: The black cylinder under the flash that looks like a battery is the flash capacitor. Ensure that it is discharged before you start tampering with the electronics.

To discharge the capacitor shorten the two highlighted solder joints between the flash and capacitor with a big screwdriver or a paper clip. Make sure you do not touch any electronic parts except the two joints.
