This guide shows how to eject the SIM card tray for the Pixel 3a in order to swap out SIM cards.

While you would normally eject the SIM tray to swap SIM cards, this step is also essential when you are completing repairs where you have to remove the motherboard.

What you need

  1. Google Pixel 3a SIM Card Tray Replacement, SIM Card Tray: step 1, image 1 of 3 Google Pixel 3a SIM Card Tray Replacement, SIM Card Tray: step 1, image 2 of 3 Google Pixel 3a SIM Card Tray Replacement, SIM Card Tray: step 1, image 3 of 3
    • Insert a SIM eject tool, SIM eject bit, or a paper clip into the SIM tray hole.

    • Press to eject the tray.
