Introduction

This guide is a replacement and cleaning tutorial for the fan filter. The fan filter can be found on the rear of the ventilation unit. It needs to be cleaned or replaced at least every month or more often. Check for dust and lint and if there is, clean or replace the fan filter. It is recommended to clean or replace between each patient to avoid cross-contamination.

For more information on replacing the fan filter, please refer to section 10 of the service manual.

Step 1 Fan Filter

Remove the fan filter (A). No tools should be necessary.

Step 2

Hamilton G5 Fan Filter Replacement/Cleaning: step 2, image 1 of 1

Replace with new filter or clean current filter.
To clean current filter, wash with a mild soap solution.
Rinse thoroughly. Dry completely before putting fan filter back.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
