This guide serves as a step-by-step replacement tutorial in replacing the internal nebulizer. First you will need to remove the rail and main cover shown in separate guides. You will need a phillips-head screwdriver and a hex-allen wrench to complete the replacement. It will take about 15-20 minutes.

For more information on replacing the nebulizer, please refer to section 10 in the service manual.

  1. Hamilton G5 Nebulizer Valve Replacement, Rail: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove 4 Hex Allen screws (A) from the Rail surrounding the Ventilation Unit.

  2. Hamilton G5 Nebulizer Valve Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the Rail (B).

  3. Hamilton G5 Nebulizer Valve Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • The Standoff Brackets (C) remain with the Main Cover.

    • Place aside in a safe location.

  4. Hamilton G5 Nebulizer Valve Replacement, Main Cover: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Lift the Main Cover (A) from the Ventilation Unit using the Standoff Brackets (B) attached to the Main Cover.

    • Place aside in a safe location.

  5. Hamilton G5 Nebulizer Valve Replacement, Nebulizer Valve: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • After the rail and main cover are taken off, remove the dark blue tubing connected to the nebulizer, pictured here.

  6. Hamilton G5 Nebulizer Valve Replacement: step 8, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the two phillips screws labeled A from the Nebulizer valve.

  7. Hamilton G5 Nebulizer Valve Replacement: step 9, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the nebulizer valve parts.

    • The Nebulizer Valve parts are:B. Straight fitting

    • C. Front Nozzle fitting

    • D. Elbow fitting

    • E. Mounting bracket

    • F. Hex Allen screw for attaching the bracket to the Safety Valve Block

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
