Honda Accord Car Key Remote

What you need

    • Locate the screw in the middle of your car key.

    • Make sure you have the following tools - Tri-point Screwdriver - CR2032 Battery

    • With your screwdriver, begin to screw in a counter-clockwise motion.

    • Each key should have a small gap. Locate this gap on the side of your key.

    • After you have taken off the screw, place the small screw somewhere safe. Then with the same screwdriver or a flathead screwdriver, you want to apply pressure to the small gap to pop it open.

    • This is an example of how the key should look after you pop it open.

    • Do not touch the other half of the key

    • After popping open the key, the battery should be located on the left half of the key.

    • Apply pressure with the flathead screwdriver, and the battery should pop out once again.

    • swap the old battery with the new battery

    • Make sure the smooth part of the battery is facing inside and not facing outwards as shown on the picture

    • Lastly, place the key back together and screw the middle part back with the tri-point screwdriver.

You listed the wrong battery. It uses a CR1620 not a CR2032. Your picture even shows the correct battery. Also I believe it is a P000 screwdriver, that is what fit my 2013 Accord key.
