    • Cut a piece of felt large enough to cover the hole

    • Insert thread through the needle hole.

    • Make a loop at the end of the thread.

    • Pull the jean towards you, making it inside out.

    • Place the felt on the hole.

    • Pinch together the jean and the felt.

    • Insert the needle horizontally into the jean and edge of the felt.

    • Pull the needle through till the knot touches the felt.

    • Repeat the above steps until the border of the felt is stitched.

    • Make a knot at the end.

    • Cut off excess thread.

    • Grasp the end of the jeans and pull them towards you to turn them right side out.

    • Insert the foam board into the pants and position it underneath the hole.

    • Rub the wool between hands to make a ball.

    • Place the wool on top of the hole.
