Inline Skates Wheels and Bearings Replacement

What you need

    • Locate the axel at the center of the wheel.

    • Using an Allen Wrench, place the end of the wrench in the axle in the center of the axle and twist counterclockwise until loose.

    • Once the axel is loosened, proceed to slide the wheel along with its axel out of position.

    • Remove the damaged wheel.

    • Take this opportunity to clean the frame of the rollerblade.

    • Gently wedge the Allen Wrench into the bearing and using an upward force at a 35-45 degree angle, carefully slide/pop out the bearing.

    • To reduce the chance of injuring yourself, wedge the bearing away from you

    • Once the bearing is successfully removed, slide the spacer out.

    • Then proceed to flip the wheel on its opposite side and use the Allen Wrench again to push out the remaining bearing from the wheel.

    • Take the new wheel replacement and fit a bearing, place the spacer in the center and place the other bearing on the other side.

    • Take the new wheel replacement, and align it with the frame so that the bearings and axle hole align.

    • Proceed to slide the axle through the hole of the frame and bearings and loosely tighten by hand turning clockwise to ensure proper alignment.

    • Then proceed to place the end of the wrench in the axle in the center of the wheel and twist clockwise until resistance is felt.
