LG Refrigerator Water Filter Replacement
Introduction
Go to step 1Use this guide to replace the water filter on your LG refrigerator. This guide is for refrigerators that have the filter located in the rear of the fresh food area in the corner.
This guide will work for most LG refrigerators with the above arrangement. This guide is written with an LG model LFX25973 refrigerator. If you have a different model, you may encounter some minor disassembly differences, but the overall repair process will be the same.
If your water filter is clogged, your water dispenser may have poor-tasting water and ice cubes, and the flow rate may be reduced. You should change your filter about every six months.
