Logitech G29 Driving Force Pedal Replacement
Introduction
Go to step 1This guide talks through the process for replacing pedals in the Logitech G29 Driving Force controller.
For full replacement desoldering the pedals is necessary. To access the insides of the pedal box, a Philips #1 screwdriver is recommended.
-
-
Begin by orienting the pedal box onto its underside.
-
Remove the twelve #1 Phillips screws that secure the bottom cover to the pedals.
-
-
-
If red wires are loose, resolder and make sure the connection is good.
-
If the black ground wire is loose, tighten it up.
Before replacing the sensor, I recommend carefully opening it (if possible) and inspecting the potentiometer. It may look like a board with lines. First, check for any dust or dryness. If the sensor is dirty, spray a small amount of WD-40 or any non-conductive lubricant. Next, inspect the metal parts for dirt and clean them with a brush if necessary. After cleaning, apply a suitable amount of electrical grease to improve conductivity. Once done, reassemble the sensor carefully.
Most problems occur when the sensor fails to detect inputs due to dirt or insufficient contact. Hope this helps! If you have any doubts, feel free to ask.
any idea where to purchase new potentiometers?

Hola. Tengo un problema en el conexionamiento desde los potenciometros hasta el conector DIM9. ¿Alguien puede pasar Esquema Electrico para poder conexionar los distintos cables en los pins correspondientes?
