Motor and Cord Replacement

What you need

  1. Motor and Cord Replacement, The Motor and Cord: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the highlighted screws shown with a Phillips #2 Screwdriver.

    • Remove the motor from the motor mounting plate. Pull the motor and cord to the side.

    • Use pliers to grip the crimp.

    • Open the crimp by pressing it opposite to how the crimp was pressed. Repeat for second crimp.

    • Remove the crimps from the wires by pulling them off.

  6. Motor and Cord Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • Untwist the brown and the silver wire by gripping the tip and unwinding them. Do the same for the second wire.

  7. Motor and Cord Replacement: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Separate the cord and motor.

    • Now, depending on whether the cord or the motor was broken, head to the device page to order a new one.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
