Nintendo NES Advantage Back Panel Replacement

Introduction

If your Nintendo NES Advantage Model NES-026 game controller is not working properly, you may need to remove the back panel for disassembly to investigate the issue.

All you need is a spudger and a standard Phillips #0 screwdriver.

What you need

    • Remove the four sticky pads from the bottom of the device.

    • If the pads are stuck, use a spudger to remove them.

    • Remove the six 8 mm screws from the bottom of the device with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Use your hands to pull the back panel away from the controller.
