Nintendo Wii U Console Battery Replacement

Go to step 1Use this guide to install a new button cell battery (type CR2032). This battery is used to keep track of time when the device is off or unplugged.
What you need

Orient the console so that the rubber feet are facing up and the exhaust vents are facing you.

Unscrew the Phillips #00 screw on battery compartment cover.
