Prerequisite guide only! Steps to disconnect the interconnect cables from the motherboard.

What you need

  1. OnePlus 3 Interconnect Cable Disconnect, OnePlus 3 Interconnect Cable Disconnect: step 1, image 1 of 2 OnePlus 3 Interconnect Cable Disconnect, OnePlus 3 Interconnect Cable Disconnect: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Remove the 3 mm Phillips screw securing the cable bracket.

    • Remove the cable bracket.

    • Use the point of a spudger to pry up and disconnect the interconnect flex cable from the motherboard, which is located above the battery.

    • Repeat the process to disconnect the daughterboard flex cable from the motherboard.
