Pentax LX Bottom Cover Removal

Introduction

Any disassembly of the LX body will compromise the weather sealing. New seals must be reapplied during final reassembly to restore weather proofing.

What you need

  1. Pentax LX Bottom Cover Removal, Remove bottom cover screws: step 1, image 1 of 3 Pentax LX Bottom Cover Removal, Remove bottom cover screws: step 1, image 2 of 3 Pentax LX Bottom Cover Removal, Remove bottom cover screws: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Remove the rubber bumper covering the screw.

    • Remove one #00 1.8 mm screw.

    • Repeat on the other side of the bottom plate (#00 3.0 mm screw).

    • Remove one #00 3.0 mm screw.

    • Remove bottom cover.
