If you are getting the error message "No SIM card detected," your SIM card may need to be replaced. This guide will demonstrate how to remove and replace your tablet's SIM card. Before beginning the SIM card removal process, make sure the tablet is turned off.

What you need

  1. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Sprint SIM Card Replacement, SIM Card: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Locate the SIM card slot on the right edge of the tablet.

    • Use your fingernail to open the SIM card slot.

    • Open the SIM card slot cover by placing your fingernail underneath the flap and flipping it up.

    • Use the nylon spudger to carefully press down on the SIM card.

    • The SIM card should now pop out slightly.

    • Use your fingers to gently pull the SIM card out of the slot.
