This guide will help you replace the processor cooling fan for the Samsung UBD-K8500. A faulty cooling fan can lead to an overheating device causing hardware and short circuit problems.

Step 1 Top Panel



• Remove the six 10 mm screws from the back of the unit using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

• Carefully lift up the top panel.
• There is a cables that must be disconnected before completely removing the panel.
• Detach the cable connecting the top panel to the motherboard.
• Take the top off and set it to the side.

Step 3 Processor Cooling Fan
• Carefully detach the cable from the fan to the circuit board by pulling on the cable connecting the fan to the circuit board.

• Remove both 10 mm screws from the fan using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
