Shure SM58 Grille Replacement

The grille of the microphone is the part you speak or sing into. If it is installed and maintained properly, it will help to ensure that your microphone looks and sounds good.

    • Hold the microphone just below the grille with one hand while using your other hand to rotate the grille clockwise to remove.

    • Completely unscrew the grille and slide it off of the top of the microphone. The unprotected microphone is delicate, so place it somewhere safe while you follow the next steps.

Can you change the grilles of sm58 and sm86?

Hello, I have two SM58 (wired), No matter how I tried to remove the grill from one of them, It just would not budge. With the other one, The grill comes off, but the base refuses to unscrew. Can you tell me how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.
