This is a simple guide on how to replace the CD Drive in the Toshiba Satellite C55-B5302 laptop. The part needed for the replacement can be found here. Be sure to have the proper tools as well as the necessary parts needed to complete this guide.

What you need

Tools

  1. Toshiba Satellite C55-B5302 CD Drive Replacement, CD Drive: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Make sure to completely shut down the laptop using the power button.

    • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew the two 7mm screws near the battery.

    • Pull on the battery to remove it from the laptop.
