Turtle Beach Recon Controller Face Plate Replacement

Introduction

This guide will demonstrate how to remove and replace the face plate of your Turtle Beach Recon.

The face plate supports the front components of your Turtle Beach Recon, including the front buttons and joystick caps. If it appears to be broken or exposed to water, it may need to be removed or replaced.

What you need

  1. Turtle Beach Recon Controller Face Plate Replacement, Back Plate: step 1, image 1 of 3 Turtle Beach Recon Controller Face Plate Replacement, Back Plate: step 1, image 2 of 3 Turtle Beach Recon Controller Face Plate Replacement, Back Plate: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove seven 10 mm screws from the back plate.

    • When replacing the screws, ensure that the screwdriver is perpendicular to the screw in curved areas.

    • Use your fingers to remove the back plate from the body of your Turtle Beach Recon.

    • Remove the four 10 mm screws from the motherboard using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
