Use this guide to help you successfully remove the corrosion from your outdoor water spigot. Overtime, there will become residue buildup on the faucet portion of the spigot that refrains your garden hose to attach properly, causing spraying water and unwanted leaks. If you are finding that this is happening to your spigot, follow the instructions below to repair your spigot.
Before starting this fix, make sure the water faucet on the spigot being worked on is turned off. Any running or dripping water while trying to follow the below steps will result in a faulty fix.
