Introduction
If the power on your Beats Pill 1.0 won't turn on or if it is unable to connect to other devices--either through bluetooth or through audio jack--employ this process to replace the motherboard. Before using this guide, double check the [link|https://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Beats_Pill_1.0_Troubleshooting|troubleshooting page|new_window=true]. For instance, you may need only to plug in the charging cable or connect using a different audio cord.
The motherboard is the main circuit of the device, meaning some special skills are needed in order to transpose it. From there, you will need to [link|https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+to+Solder+Components+onto+the+Beats+Pill+1.0/38327|solder|new_window=true] the battery to the new motherboard as part of [link|https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/edit/37684/84912|Step 6|new_window=true].
Remember to disconnect your Beats Pill 1.0 from a power source and to turn off the device before beginning the replacement process.
