[* black] Use the heat gun or hair dryer along the seams on the back of the phone on medium, if a hair dryer, or low, if a heat gun, for a full minute to soften the adhesive binding the phone together.
+[* black] Keep the gun/dryer a few inches away form the case, and while keeping the heat on the phone, move the gun/dryer along the edges of the phone where the adhesive is in between the edges.
[* icon_caution] Be careful when using a heat gun. If the gun is particularly powerful, you may not have to hold the gun over the phone for a full minute. Use good judgement to tell what's appropriate, but know if you use it for too long and too powerfully, you may damage your phone.
