Step Lines

-[* black] With the Powerbook facing toward you and the monitor closed (just as pictured), press in on the battery removal latch, located on the right side of the front panel. Gently slide the battery out.
-[* icon_caution] Each of the following components (keyboard, front pane and hard drive) are connected to the laptop's logic board via a ribbon cable. Lifting up slowly on each component with one hand and disconnecting the ribbons from their ports on the logic board with the other will prevent damage to your laptop.
