+ | [* black] A judgement call is required here. Some iphones have slimline connectors while others have a thicker connector. The slimline (almost flat) connector will likely fall apart if you try to pivot it. Instead use a pair of flat nosed tweezers to wiggle the #3 ribbon cable in and out. If you have a thicker connector designed to pivot then see the next step otherwise give it a skip to the bottom instruction in this step. [DO NOT USE TWEEZERS WITH GRIPPING 'TEETH'] |

[* black] Use a spudger to flip up the white plastic tab holding the remaining ribbon cable in place. The white tab will rotate up 90 degrees, releasing the ribbon cable. | |
