Editing Step 5 —
Remove the buffer block

Step Type:

Drag to rearrange

Use the flat end of a spudger to pry up the buffer block near the bottom-right corner of the iPad.

Take care not to puncture or tear the home button ribbon cable.

Remove the buffer block.
