How to Embed a Guide or Teardown

Introduction

In this guide, you will learn how to grab and embed an HTML code that allows you to publish an iFixit guide or teardown onto another site.

Step 1 View teardown or guide

Navigate to the teardown or guide page that you would like to embed.

Step 2 Select language (optional)

If you wish to embed the guide or teardown in a different language than the one currently selected:
Click on the language icon in the upper right of the header bar.
In the pop-up window, click to select the desired language.
The site will load the page in the selected language.

Step 3 Create embed code

Click the "Options" button on the upper-righthand corner of the page.
Select "Embed This Guide" from the dropdown menu.

Step 4 Copy embed code

A pop-up window will appear with an HTML embed code and a preview of your embedded guide.
Select the size you wish the embedded guide to be.
Copy the auto-generated HTML code.

Step 5 Embed guide on your site

Paste your HTML code into the site's text box.
Enjoy your embedded guide!
