  • The new enclosure is easy to open and showcases the transparency of the project.

  • An even more modular design makes for a tidy phone on the inside, with another layer of disassembly for repairing individual components.

  • Reassembling this phone won’t be much of an issue, and we're very confident it’ll still work.

Dat was de Fairphone 3, tot op de vijsjes en individuele onderdelen. Onze slotsom:

De nieuwe behuizing is gemakkelijk te openen en illustreert de transparantie van het project.

Het ontwerp bestaat uit nog meer modules dan zijn voorganger, wat leidt tot een erg ordelijke smartphone. Bovendien kunnen de modules ook uit elkaar gehaald worden om individuele componenten te herstellen.

Deze smartphone terug ineen zetten zal niet moeilijk zijn, en we zijn er zeker van dat ie nog zal werken.
