Follow step below for information on how to take apart hinge cover.

Starting on the right side of the computer, use a plastic scribe (inserted into the indent) to pry up the hinge cover. Lift the bottom edge of the cover away from the keyboard going from the right to the left, and then pull the cover up and away from the display to remove it.
