Remove the display cable bracket

  • Continue to hold the screen perpendicular during this step.

  • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two 1.3 mm screws securing the display cable bracket.

  • Throughout this repair, keep track of each screw and make sure it goes back exactly where it came from.
