Samsung Galaxy A20e Vibration Module Replacement

Step 1 — Switch off and discharge your phone

For obvious safety reasons, it is necessary to completely turn off your device before opening it.

Step 2 — Open your phone

Take a pick and slide it between the back cover of the phone and the screen.

Step 3 — Disconnect the fingerprint sensor

Slide the spudger under the sensor’s connector and gently pry it up to disconnect the module.

Step 4 — Access the internals of the phone

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the 6 screws securing the plastic covers.

Step 5 — Disconnect everything!

Using the nylon spudger, lift and disconnect the ribbon cables for the battery, screen, and charging connector.

Step 6 — Remove the motherboard

Gently lift the component to detach it from the rest of the device. You can then place it in a safe location.

Step 7 — Remove and replace the vibrator module

Using a flathead screwdriver (as the spudger is too wide to fit), gently lift the vibrator module to remove it from the device.
