  • Pour remettre de la nouvelle pâte thermique, il est important de bien nettoyer les restes de l'ancienne.

  • Pour cela, on peut utiliser de l'alcool de type éthanol ou isopropylique pour détacher l'ancienne pâte. L'utilisation d'un autre type alcool laisse des résidus au séchage. Un chiffon ou une raclette en plastique peuvent être utiles pour enlever les résidus.

  • Il faut s'assurer d'avoir bien nettoyé le côté dissipateur ET le dessus du processeur.

To put back new thermal paste, it is important to clean the remains of the old one

For this, alcohol of the ethanol or isopropyl type can be used to remove the old paste. The use of another type of alcohol leaves residues on drying. A plastic cloth or squeegee can be useful for removing residue.

Make sure you have cleaned the heat sink side AND the top of the processor.
