Step 1
The battery is located in the right cup of your headphones. First you need to remove the ear cushion. Insert a spudger between the cushion and the cup and move it around the cup to remove the cushion.
Step 2
Remove the four screws to take off the membrane from the cup.
Step 3
Carefully remove the membrane part from the cup. Take care not to damage any cables.
Step 4
The battery is glued to two strips of sponge rubber who serve as spacers. Insert the spudger between the battery and the rubber to remove the battery.
Step 5
With a soldering iron remove the cables of the battery from the board. Take extra care to prevent the cables from touching!
Step 6
Prepare the new battery. You might have to shorten the cables a bit first. Take care here as well that the cable ends don't touch.
Step 7
Prepare two strips of double-sided tape (carpet tape) and apply them to the sponge rubber strips. Remove the protective film and place the battery. Press down lightly.
Step 8
Place the membrane with the electronics back in the cup. Before putting the screws back in place do a quick test if the headphones work (turn them on).
