  • Remove the logic board assembly from the MacBook Pro.

  • While the logic board and fans are removed, use a can of compressed air and a soft, non-static brush to remove dust and other debris from the upper case and the logic board, particularly from the fan exhaust openings along the rear edge of the upper case.

  • When reinstalling the motherboard, make sure all cables, and the two rubber heat sink/fan covers, are visible and not trapped under the motherboard.

Verwijder de logic board module uit de MacBook Pro.

Als het logic board en de ventilatoren eenmaal verwijderd zijn, kun je wat perslucht en een zachte (niet-statische) borstel gebruiken om stof en ander vuil uit de behuizing en onder het logic board te verwijderen. Besteed ook extra aandacht aan de ventilatoropeningen langs de achterkant van de bovenste behuizing.

Zorg dat je, bij het weer installeren van het moederbord, alle kabels kunt zien zodat deze niet vast geklemd komen te zitten onder het moederbord.

Vanaf de bovenkant en met de klok mee: batterij, rechterspeaker, backlight van het toetsenbord, AirPort/camera, scherm, microfoon, linkerspeaker, toetsenbord en het trackpad.
