  • Pull the optical drive up by its white pull tab to disconnect it from the logic board.

  • Lift the free end of the optical drive just enough to clear the fan cover. Lifting the free end of the optical drive too far may break the plastic positioning pins off the front bezel.

  • Lift the free end of the optical drive slightly, then pull it away from the edge of the rear case to clear the two plastic positioning pins.

  • Lift the optical drive out of your iMac.

  • When reinstalling your optical drive it may be necessary to set the bezel attached to the open end of the drive on the plastic positioning pins molded into the front bezel of the iMac and pull the connector side of the drive toward the edge of the rear case, bending it outward slightly, to properly seat the connector.

Extrayez le lecteur optique en tirant la languette blanche (ou opaque) pour le déconnecter de la carte mère.

Soulevez la partie arrière du lecteur optique suffisamment pour dégager les protections du ventilateur. Si vous soulevez trop fort la partie arrière du lecteur optique, vous pouvez casser les plots en plastique de positionnement à l'extérieur de l'ouverture frontale du lecteur.

Soulevez la partie arrière du lecteur délicatement, puis tirez-le en arrière pour l'éloigner du rebord du boîtier arrière et le détacher des deux plots en plastique de positionnement.

Sortez le lecteur optique de votre iMac.

Quand vous réinstallerez votre lecteur optique, il pourra être nécessaire de positionner la fente du lecteur sur les plots de positionnement moulés dans le bord de l'iMac, puis de tirer le lecteur côté connecteur vers le bord du boîtier arrière en le tendant légèrement, afin de pouvoir brancher correctement le connecteur.
