iFixit Pro Tech Tool Roll

I completely missed the reviews about a custom case with a metal liner plate for the Mako kit. Extremely disappointing how intuitive it felt that—while a separate purchase—I thought the separate magnet pad/sheet was all that was needed. Not also selling the necessary metal liner plate for the case, either pared with the magnet sheet or separately, is an extreme oversight. I don't want to have to purchase a completely separate case when the one I already have for the set is perfectly serviceable.

1. Does not come with the magnetic pad. 2. I picked up the magnetic pad so I can insert my mako drive set. But no dice. Response from iFixIt “On the Mako Driver Kit that comes with the Pro Tech Toolkit, we have a metallic backplate that is mounted to the bottom side of the Mako. This metallic backplate allows the Mako to magnetically attract to the magnetic pad that resides inside of the black canvas tool roll of the Pro Tech Toolkit. We sell magnetic pads separately in case customers lose them. Right now, we don't stock just the metallic backplate because these are installed onto the Makos that are being kitted exclusively for Pro Techs, which is one of the last steps in the assembly process.”

They send you the roll without the magnetic pad...why? Why separate a part that is essential for the roll to hold the Make Driver Kit?? They tell you one the Disclaimer that the magnetic pad is not included, but it feels extremely disingenuous for a company that is supposed to be consumer friendly to be nickle and dimming in this manner. They also dont make it very clear through the disclaimer that the magnetic pad makes the roll several times more convenient to handle. Without it, the Mako Driver kit has a tendency to shmush the rest of the components in the roll and make it harder to close. Please change this
